Best of times, worst of times...
So today's writing prompt included a challenge to do a vlog, a video blog.
The question was "How
long have you been married, and which years were the best and hardest?"

I began this blog, (previously known as Daily Struggles and Uplifting Scriptures ) many years ago. God has helped me grow so much from the person I was then, but it has not been easy. It has hurt a lot. It has taken a lot. All throughout God has remained faithful. So now here I am, preparing to enter a new chapter in my life. So, for now, this will reflect that pain. .... all while knowing that I serve and worship a good and faithful God.
Your vlog made me cry. Thank you for your example of love and grace and forgiveness. You're right...collateral damage...it's not personal, and yet, you are still hurt by it. I am thankful that you are learning how to balance grace and love and distance as well so that you can heal.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being brave enough to try a vlog...I haven't done one yet, but I'd like to try one now. But even more than that, thank you for sharing the testimony of how God has/is working in your life and marriage. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteSuch a good vlog. I too have wanted to get into vlogging but never seem to have the time. Plus anytime I try one my 1 year old decides the tripod is her new toy!

Wow, you are very brave to speak so openly of your trials and to do it by vlog. I'm not sure I could. Its easier as you said to write the words than to speak them to total strangers. Thank you for sharing! Visiting from Mama Kat's!
ReplyDeleteI liked the vlog. Although some of it I think you didn't give credit where credit is due, I think putting yourself out there is awesome. I want to get into the vlogging thing but I just haven't arrived there yet.

Thanks. I was really nervous at first and now I am loving Vlogging. I am doing a vlog challenge.. it has 15 ideas for entries. You can try it by using Youtube to record straight from your computer.. you can edit it.. and when you feel ready you can make public for others to see.
