Entering the Next Chapter

Every time I see the Angie's List commercial I laugh. One of the ladies hair reminds me of the Cat with the Lime helmet. I just had to share... What do you think? Do you see the resemblance?

So I did not like the challenge so I changed it. I have so much I do when I am not blogging. I think we all have responsibilities and listing them is silly. Instead I decided to describe how I make doing the things I need to do more enjoyable.  What do you do to make your responsibilities more enjoyable? 

So we have come down to the final day of the blog challenge and although I have begun the next challenge, I am still slightly sad that this is over. I can't believe that I actually did it though. I followed through and accomplished something. So for the final post on this blog challenge the question is pretty deep.  List 5 things you would hope to be remembered for. 1. Being a godly woman. I just think it would be the most awesome thing to be remembered for. My daughters are the ones I really want to think of me in this way.  2. Being completely real and honest with others. I don't want to be known for having secrets. I don't want all those skeletons to come falling out of my closet as they close the casket. I don't want people to see me as another quote on quote Christian. I want them to see me as someone who has fallen many times but has the grace of God covering all her flaws.  3. So I have a bunch of jewelry that I don't wear anymore or really haven't ever worn. This post was about connecting with another blogger and swapping a piece of old jewelry. You read their blog and research their likes and style. I think it will be neat. Check it out if you are an active blogger and want to get to know someone. 

I mention all three of my pet peeves but I go into detail on the pet peeve of lack of etiquette. 

So a quick recap of Part 1 :  Last night I went to a group that I had heard so many good things about. It was a little difficult because I felt vulnerable. God was able to teach me, even in my anxious moment.  ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---  ---   --- I left you all with the quote from Tony Ingrassia, at Outpost Church, " You must give God direct access to the most wounded places of your past, to be healed in the present, so you can have a healthier future."  If I were to sum up what I thought that meant I would have to say that I have to give God the shameful, painful, and darkest parts of my past that haunt me and form who I am today, in order to have a deep healing and in order to go out and show others love and compassion.  When I was first facing the bipolar diagnosis, I was told, "You can't save a person from drowning, if you don't know how to swim." I have several things that turn me off. But the two biggest ones would have to be my daughters. There is nothing like the fear that strikes when you hear little foot steps coming down the hallway or the guilt you feel upon hearing little cries for your attention while doing "laundry" (as my friend calls it).  What are your biggest turn-offs?
